Commissioner Nicole Cacozza is a native Washingtonian who lived in the Capitol Hill and Friendship Heights neighborhoods before moving to Ward 1. She currently represents 1B10, the single member district encompassing north Howard University, the McMillan Reservoir, and the citizens of Pleasant Plains. As commission, Nicole works to engage on issues that affect the community. She first joined the Transportation Committee as a resident member, and hopes to use her role there to develop infrastructure which serves all residents and increases connections to the city. Nicole is a DCPS graduate, and attended Wilson Senior High School. She has a bachelor’s degree from Brown University, where she studied history. She currently works for the American Bar Association in the Division for Public Service.
