Learn About Ranked Choice Voting at Our March 5 Meeting

ANC 1B is pleased to welcome a representative from the DC Board of Elections to our upcoming commission meeting to present on ranked choice voting, which the District will use for the first time this election cycle.

📅 Date: Wednesday, March 5

🕡 Time: 6:30 – 7:00 PM (presentation and Q&A)

📍 Location: Josephine Butler Parks Center, 15th Street (in person)

From 6:30 to 7:00 PM, the Board of Elections will provide an overview of how ranked choice voting works and answer questions from the community.

Following the presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a hands-on demonstration in an adjacent room. Demo voting equipment and sample ballots will be available so community members can practice using the machines and ask additional questions while the Commission conducts its regular meeting business.

This is a great opportunity to learn about the District’s new voting system and feel fully prepared to cast your ballot in the June election.
