Save the Date: Shakespeare in the Park, June 25!

At its June meeting, the Commission approved a budget to fund a production of Shakespeare’s The Comedy of Errors in Meridian Hill/Malcolm X Park.

We are working feverishly with the production team, NPS, and other stakeholders to make this production a reality!

We will send a newsletter and update this website once we have confirmed details. For now, save the date!

We can do great things in Meridian Hill/Malcolm X Park again. Here’s a photo of the Washington Theatre Festival, in 1949, held in the park.
